MARKETING SUPERVISOR

Required Qualification:

  • Degree in related field (e.g. Communications, Marketing) with minimum 2 years related experience.
  • Demonstrated background in content management, creative writing, technical writing, advertising conceptualization, social media, print, media negotiations, and digital advertising.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Office 365/Skype, and Word; and basic skills or knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.

  • Extensive knowledge of a wide range of marketing techniques and concepts.
  • High level of oral, written communication and creative skills.
  • Able to work well in a team and with a wide range of people at all levels.
  • Evidence of ability to be persuasive and influential at all levels
  • Keen eye for detail and ability to produce high quality content.
  • Experience with video content, from creative development to production agency oversight.
  • Organizational and time management skills. Complete work within established time frames
  • Ability to prioritize, and coordinate multiple projects and competing work demands. Ability to see the “big picture” while managing several small projects.
  • Positive interpersonal skills, including the ability to establish and maintain cooperative, courteous working relationships with others.
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics and AdWords campaigns
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of information regarding company financial and other information.

Position Summary:

The prime purpose is of this position is to develop the marketing strategy working across all the business units as required; monitor, analyze, and understand customer behaviour as well as create and manage campaigns and promotions. The Marketing Manager will strategically develop and implement the Company’s advertising, marketing, and communications programs regarding its services, in order to build brand awareness and increase sales. You will be required to understand the needs of our customers, how they align to the AKAM Nature Care strategy and turn this into deliverable plans and activities.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Media and Advertising

  • Develop all strategic and tactical marketing initiatives and plans.
  • Create and implement marketing/media plans that include print, online, video, tradeshows, and social networking opportunities.
  • Conceptualize and write branded advertising campaigns, white papers and other technical content with the help of the marketing team.
  • Conduct market research to identify effective promotional methods and negotiate media contracts.
  • Investigate new media opportunities (print, events, online, advertorials), negotiate rates, and book space.
  • Ensure all advertisements are trafficked to the appropriate publications and online venues.
  • Develop, write and maintain internal communication systems (intranet, newsletters, emails, corporate announcements).
  • Create, maintain and strengthen Company’s overall brand in all forms of media.
  • Organize and streamline service offerings into customer friendly concepts.
  • Manage printers and other promotional vendors.
  • Manage and ensure consistent branding across all office locations.

 

Web

  • Ensure content of company corporate website are current, dynamic, and relevant.
  • Write, execute, and deploy email marketing campaigns and web content.
  • Strategize, develop and oversee production of video content for website and social media.
  • Consider new ways (while liaising with relevant personnel) to further develop our corporate site in order to make it a selling tool.
  • Review web analytics and ad words campaigns on an ongoing basis and generate monthly reports regarding site traffic.
  • Ensures the maximization of events, press, promotions and executive outreach in the social media platforms.

 

Others

  • Establishes marketing objectives, to obtain a market share and ensure product and service profitability.
  • Plans and supervises the dealership’s advertising and promotional activities, making use of the written press, the electronic media and mailing services.
  • Prepares and implements monthly and annual marketing budgets.
  • Devises and implements short and long-term marketing plans and programs, in order to achieve growth in profits and in dealership products and services.
  • Contacts advertising agencies concerning current advertising campaigns.
  • Works with the marketing team, including the content writer and supervises copywriting and the design and production of promotional materials.
  • Designs and composes, together with management, all printed advertising, radio and television commercials, billboards, mailings and internal or external notices.
  • Takes part in relevant marketing or sales promotion meetings put on by organizations.
  • Communicates with dealership employees, in order to keep abreast of the attitudes, behaviours and consumption habits of the clientele, etc.
  • Interacts with the customers, in order to become familiar with their needs and concerns.
  • Evaluates market reactions to advertising programs, inserts in the media and marketing policies.
  • Researches and uses industry sources and information about consumers.
  • Follows up on marketing results, to ensure that marketing objectives are met,within permitted budget constraints as well as takes any necessary corrective action.
  • Takes part in monthly management meetings.
  • Maintains a professional appearance always.
  • Performs other tasks, based on management requirements and instructions.
