Proven working experience as an IT manager or relevant experience.

Position Summary:
The IT Manager is responsible for the planning, operation, and maintenance of all information technology supported systems, applications, and services in the Company while recommending and implementingnew systems and upgrades as appropriate. The post-holder also plays an active role in the building and upgrading of the skills and knowledgeof staff in the use of computers and relevant software applications as well as supporting anetwork of desktops, servers and associated printers and peripherals.
KEY RESPONSIILITIES:
Manages network operations to include: troubleshooting connectivity problems; installing & maintaining routers; Managing and Administering Telephone systems; adding/terminating users; assigning rights and access; resetting passwords; establishing e-mail addresses; assessing and reporting operational status; performing backups and restores; etc.
Manages the acquisition, installation and maintenance of the organization’s local area network hardware/software.
Ensures technology documents/certificates such as product registrations, SSL certificates, maintenance agreements, service contracts, etc. related to technology operations and/or technology services are evaluated, updated and processed.
Conducts technology orientation and exit briefing for all staff; prepares technology and systems for new and existing staff.
Implements and maintains network security, including the routine backup and safe storage of Company data, firewalls, and required software to maintain security.
Communicates with vendors for technical support and program updates as needed to resolve Company computer technology and network issues.
Maintains an accurate inventory of the Company’s computer hardware and software.
As needed provides written technology recommendations and policy guidance to managers, supervisors, staff and consumers.
Designs, develops and maintains web-based applications including websites and intranets. Continuously improves the organization’s Web site and Intranet; adds new functionality and improves user ability to maintain without technical support.
Developing Cloud Solutions and ensuring the organizational goal of being data driven is implemented.
Ensure Disaster Recovery and Redundancy of servers are proper
Develops annual technology goals and detailed plans for goal accomplishment.
Ensures for the availability, continuity and security of data and information pertaining to the organization
Respects confidentiality in discussing consumer/participant, staff, volunteer and organizational matters; also maintains confidentiality of organization, project, fiscal and personnel related information
Maintains knowledge on current technology by reading technology periodicals, evaluating new technologies and attending trade-shows, technical seminars and training sessions.
Manage annual IT budget and ensure cost effectiveness.
Develop requirements, outlines, budgets, and schedules for information technology projects as well as oversee all phases of projects from conception to completion.
Monitor the network anti-virus software and ensure this is up-to-date, and take appropriate action to resolve problems; monitor Windows, Server and Software updates
Maintains a thorough knowledge of the organization and adheres to all organizational standards
Keeps immediate supervisor well-informed of activities and recommends corrective actions
Perform other duties as assigned by the Management.
