Equivalent to a high school diploma but degree in related discipline preferred.
One year of stock or storekeeping experience, including experience in the maintenance of records.

Position Summary:
The Store/Inventory Officer performs duties to support shipping and receiving deliveries, coordinating stock, documenting store transactions, maintaining records, and overseeing storage of surplus inventory and property for the Company.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Facilitate periodic checks of the quantities of materials held in stock.
Undertake the day to day supervision of the stores service to deliver a customer focused service in accordance with agreed procedures.
Ensure the integrity of the stores area is maintained at all times.
Ensure arrangements for delivery or collection of materials at the agreed time.
Ensure accurate accountability of all transactions to and from the stores.
Responsible for the removal and disposal of redundant stock in all stores areas in accordance with Company disposal schedule.
Certify invoices for payment when required.
Complete accurate reports documenting sales and inventory.
Manage and maintain the company’s material and stocked product inventory including stock profiles and stock locations.
Manage and control perpetual inventory stock counting/inventory accuracy checks.
Minimize overstocks and removal of obsolete/redundant raw materials to maximize availability of working capital.
Ensure incoming product is receipted and managed appropriately according to company procedure.
Ensure materials are ready and available for production as and when required.
Ensure that any materials that are late or holding up production for whatever reason are chased and followed up until received.
Ensure sub-contract processes are received back and that suppliers are chased to ensure no late delivery situation.
Ensure integrity and accuracy of the stock management system.
Produce daily reports to ensure key critical areas of the stock system are controlled and any discrepancies addressed and resolved.
Manage control measures to ensure mistakes, inaccuracies and discrepancies are highlighted, addressed and resolved.
Perform other related duties as assigned by the management.
