Required qualification:

  • OND/HND/BSc. in relevant course.
  • Minimum of 1 year of sales experience (healthcare and/or beauty industry preferred).

  • Self-motivated with a positive professional outlook at all times.
  • Focused, personable and able to plan own workload.
    Result oriented, energetic, enthusiastic and have ability to manage stress.
  • Comfortable with meeting customers.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products such as Excel, Word, Access and PowerPoint is desirable.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and negation skills, with an ability to build strong relationships and networks.
  • Good listener with excellent oral communication skills e.g. speaks clearly and concisely.
  • Ability to remain objective and professional.
  • Can remain calm and professional and work effectively when under pressure and deadlines 
  • Flexible and willing to undertake a range of diverse tasks and to work the hours required for the successful completion of tasks, including full weekends and away from home occasionally.
  • Demonstrated ability to convert prospects and close deals while maintaining established sales quotas.
  • Able to perform basic calculations and mathematical figures

Reports Directly to: Marketing Supervisor

Position Summary:

  • The Field marketer is responsible for generating leads, advancing the sales process, closing new business and achieving or assisting in the achievement of opportunity-based sales quotas. You will be required to conduct market research to identify new leads and reach business targets through various marketing strategies from time to time. Ultimately, you’ll actively participate in the planning and execution of the company marketing activities providing vital input based on your interactions with prospects on the field.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively identify opportunities with external clients, document their current process in order to develop new sales opportunities.
  • Responsible for all aspects of client relationships and sales cycle including: sales to new and existing clients, price negotiation, pipeline management, training, and marketing support.
  • Meet sales quotas each month, quarter and year.
  • Be a solution provider to customers by determining their needs and recommendproducts or services and providing product quotes to customers.
  • Regularly schedule appointments and visit existing customers to review product needs anddetermining other opportunities.
  • Submit orders and paperwork, as required as well as submit activity reports, as required.
  • Stay current and up to date on customer market trends, and new product(s).
  • Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, etc.
  • Maintains client and company confidence by keeping information confidential and secure.
  • Maintains a positive working relationship with team members, supervisor and management.
  • Promote the overall success of the company through constantly improving sales, sales techniques and relationships. Develop successful sales techniques and share with the team.
  • Become knowledgeable regarding assigned Territory.
  • Resolve immediate customer complaints and inquiries.
  • Attend regular business meetings as well as participate in marketing events such as trade shows to develop relevant knowledge, techniques and skills to facilitate field marketing experience.
  • Emphasize product/service features and benefits, quote prices, discuss credit terms, and prepare sales order forms and/or reports.
  • Appropriately communicate brand identity and corporate position.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Management.
