Bachelor’s degree or associate degree (Journalism, Communications, Business).
Must have at least 1 year of content writing experience (Prior writing for Healthcare, IT, or Communications is preferred).

Ability to work as part of a collaborative team remotely

Experience writing for Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is an added advantage.
Intermediate knowledge in the use of computer software applications including word processing (MS Word), spreadsheets (Excel), presentations (PowerPoint, Prezi) and desktop publishing skills.
Proficient with Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Gmail, Calendar).

Position Summary:
The Content Writer will write, create and proofread various forms of marketing content including, but not limited to, content for websites, blog posts, social media, case studies, brochures, email promotions, press releases, newsletter articles, display ads, and trade show signs and literature for all marketing campaigns. The post-holder will also proofread and review subject matter reports, proposals and other documentation before such documents are shared with the clients and prospective clients of AKAM Nature Care.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Research, write and edit web and intranet content from scratch.
Write web content based on material supplied by client or management.
Write interactive content for high level of presence in online and offline activities of the company (including Press release writing, eBook writing, Blogging, Creative writing and Article writing)
Edit web pages for on-screen readability as well as proofread final draft of web pages.
Ensure continuous delivery of correct and sufficient information on the website in order to maintain the integrity and reputation of the Company.
Raise brand awareness and direct response and persuade different audiences by taking user insight from the marketing team to inform content improvement.
Have detailed knowledge of the target audience of each project and maintain accurate tone of voice.
Have regular interaction with clients and provide suggestions for content-related issues.
Ensures continuous collaboration with web designers, advertising professionals and sales professionals to produce relevant content for our prospects and customers.
Attend and participate in company, department and client meetings.
Prepare reports upon request.
Keep current with emerging web technologies and SEO developments through relevant blogs, webinars, professional training, and events.
Perform other duties as assigned and required by the management.
