Current Acupuncture license will be an added advantage.

Position Summary:
The Acupuncturist will provide acupuncture treatments to all our patients and carers. You will be responsible for assessing, planning, organizing, as well as providing sessions that create a caring and safe environment, addressing the comfort needs of our patients, and positively impacting on the patients’ wellbeing. You will also be responsible for keeping accurate and thorough patients records and communicating with other members of the medical department about their recommended treatment plan.
KEY RESPONSIILITIES:
Assess client condition by conducting brief health history and interview, observing client and interpreting findings.
Maintain safe and clean treatment environment and adhering to Clean Needle Technique protocols; complying with procedures, rules, regulations, and laws.
Identify correct anatomical and proportional point locations based on patients’ anatomy and positions, contraindications, and precautions related to treatments.
Administer acupuncture treatment using sterile, single use needles at specified locations to address patient’s chief complaint.
Evaluate effects of treatments by observing, noting, and evaluating patient’s progress; modifying when necessary.
Adhere to strict guidelines regarding patient’s health information.
Educate patients on the quality of life benefits of consistent acupuncture care as well as provide a recommended course of treatment.
Committed to, and to work for the best interests of the patients and continually act in accordance with relevant professional body code of conduct.
Attend appropriate training education programs to meet the annual requirements of the relevant acupuncture professional body.
Light cleaning and restocking of supplies as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Management.
