Minimum of two years’ experience in a similar role (e.g. Facilities, Projects, Contracts Management).
Other requirements (skills, knowledge and experience):
Comprehensive understanding of building maintenance and repair methods and requirements.
Understand work operational systems, procedures, standards and practices in various building tasks.
Understand the mechanical equipment, air conditioning, refrigeration, fire systems, stand-by emergency power, water treatment systems and related preventive maintenance programmes.
Possess good IT skills.
Meticulous, organized and a diligent team player.
Have integrity and honesty.
Possess good interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
Ability to manage time, can multi-task and adhere to deadlines.
Ability to read and interpret building plans and specifications, draw plans and write specifications and cost estimates for building repair and minor building construction work.

Position Summary:
The Facility Officer is responsible for operational property and maintenance matters, including security, day-to-day property and equipment maintenance, small building alteration projects and the general care of all grounds and facilities of the Company. He will also participate in decisions related to maintenance and operations of the buildings and infrastructure, technology operations and replacement, architectural design and renovation and the safety and security of the premise and its personnel.
Key Responsibilities:
1.Facilities Planning
Coordinates and plans the maintenance schedule for Company.
Reviews plans and specifications and make recommendations as to maintenance and operation of new facilities prior to and during construction.
2.Facilities Management
Conducts daily inspection rounds of all Company equipment/machinery/electronics and report any abnormalities to line management for corrective action.
Organizes the set up and take down of equipment required by the Staff e.g. during meetings and other in-door or out-door programmes.
Supervises certain minor repairs when necessary; e.g. replacing tap washers, minor carpentry repairs, etc.
Takes responsibility, within the limitations of the Company budgets, for all Company furniture, fixtures and fittings.
Monitors the safe storage and control of any potentially harmful materials and chemicals used within the Company and ensure that such materials are appropriately marked and signposted.
Ensures compliance with Health & Safety legislation.
Investigate damages to facilities, determine responsibility and assess charges for damages.
Receives and investigates major or emergency calls. Budget and Resource Management.
Develops and manages facilities and infrastructure budget for Company.
Reviews expenditure and achieve cost savings where possible.
3. Manage Outsource Services.
Monitors outsourced vendor, service provider, and/or contractor performance to ensure quality of outsourced service.
Prepares specifications for special contract items.
Provides estimate for labour and material costs.
Inspects remodeling and repair work in progress for quality of workmanship and compliance with specifications.
Manages outsourced supplier when there are serious variations in delivery, quality, price or conditions of sale.
Performed other duties as assigned by the management.
